Kanban is an Agile or Lean methodology tool to track the evolution or flow of the project deliverables and task status. The basic idea is that tasks (represented by Post-It™ notes) start on the left side of the board and flows to the right as it completes a stage or phase in development. This is a concept of visual project management. One objective of the kanban board is to support daily scrum meetings. Ideally, the project teams meet in the morning for a 15-minute roundtable to discuss status, using the scrum or kanban board as a collaboration tool. Or, effectively use it as a personal task board that's transparent to your manager and team.
